Custom solutions and integration
Combine key positions, miniboxes and closed compartments in a single cabinet. Or integrate the management system into a safe, fire-resistant safe or secure room, with a layout that suits your application.

A set-up that suits your organisation
What you want to manage determines how the configuration is set up. Vehicle keys, technical keys, cards, devices and weapons each require a suitable method of storage and release.
With the modular LoxTop system, different components can be combined. Together with us, you choose the layout and features that match your way of working, available space and required security.
This could be a mixed management cabinet, an internal fit-out for an existing safe, or a more extensive set-up in a secure room.
Different modules in the same cabinet
Within a single cabinet, different types of key positions and storage compartments can be used side by side.
| Component | Possible application |
|---|---|
| RFID key holders | For individual keys, key bunches and vehicle keys. The holder is recognised, and the removal and return are logged. |
| Key positions with cylinder | For suitable mechanical keys that are locked and replaced in their own cylinder position. |
| Removable miniboxes | For cards, badges and small items. An RFID tag makes it possible to track the removal and return of the box. |
| Closed compartments and lockers | For devices, documents, equipment or weapons, with separate doors and different compartment sizes. |
| Ordinary key hooks | For keys that are stored behind the cabinet's access security, without individual electronic locking. |
The electronic modules are operated from the same management environment. For each module, we determine which access control and registration are required.
With ordinary key hooks without individual identification, the key that is taken is not registered automatically. With miniboxes, the box is recognised; with closed compartments, additional content verification can be provided.
Additional options
Depending on the application, compartments can be fitted with RFID recognition, weight checks or a suitable charging facility. The dimensions, doors and position of the touchscreen can also be adapted to the required configuration.
Controlled access behind a certified door
The management system can be integrated into various types of safes and fire-resistant safes. In this way you combine controlled access to the contents with the physical protection of the chosen housing.
Possible versions are:
- Secure cabinets compliant with EN 14450, S1 or S2
- Burglary-resistant safes in accordance with EN 1143-1, class 0 up to and including 7
- Safes with additional, certified fire resistance
Key positions, miniboxes, closed compartments and weapon holders can be built in according to the available interior space and technical possibilities.
Integration into an existing safe may also be possible. We look at the fixing, door opening, position of the controls, power supply and any cable entries. The required security follows your specifications. The technical built-in installation is adjusted accordingly.

Burglary- and fire-resistant, with an electronic combination lock. We fit the same safes with LoxTop modules.
Armoury, strongroom or armoured room
The system can also be installed in a secure room. Within that room, the modules organise access to specific keys, compartments or weapons.
This allows an employee to have access to the room, while the individual weapon holders and compartments are only released according to the rights set. Several cabinets or modules can be linked within the same management environment.
Custom cabinet or furniture
When a standard cabinet does not match the available space or desired layout, a custom housing or built-in installation can be developed. In doing so, we agree the dimensions, module distribution, doors, operation and maintenance access, among other things.

Access to a secure room, with management modules for the storage inside.
Three ways to combine
- 1 RFID key holders
- 2 Key positions with cylinder
- 3 Removable miniboxes
- 4 Closed compartments in various sizes
- 5 Standard key hooks
Example configuration. Layout, modules and physical security are tailored to your application.
Mixed cabinet for keys and small items
One cabinet with RFID key holders, key positions with cylinder, removable miniboxes, closed compartments in various sizes and a section with ordinary key hooks.
A central touchscreen and badge reader handle operation. The degree of access control and registration is matched for each component.

Key positions in the door and separate closed compartments inside.
Combined management in a safe
Key positions and closed compartments are built into a safe or fire-resistant safe. Depending on the configuration, miniboxes or other modules can also be added.
The safe provides the physical protection. The electronic modules control the release and registration of the connected positions.

LoxTop modules for key and compartment management, built into a server rack.
Key and compartment management in a server rack
For data centres and server rooms, LoxTop modules can be built into a standard 19-inch server rack. This version is called RackSafe.
This allows rack keys and spare parts to be issued under control, close to the IT installations where they are needed. A technician logs in and gains access to the permitted keys or compartments. Key issue and compartment use are logged.
A technician can, for example, receive only the keys to the racks he is authorised for. In a data centre with several customers, management can be tailored to each customer's rack keys.
RackSafe uses the LoxTop management environment and can be linked to other LoxTop cabinets.
Example configuration. Layout, modules and physical security are tailored to your application.
Configuration for a professional service
Vehicle keys in RFID key holders, personal service weapons in closed compartments, collective long weapons in separately locked holders, and radios or bodycams in lockers.
These components can be combined in a suitable configuration or distributed across several linked cabinets, in line with the service's requirements and procedures.
One management environment for standard and custom solutions
A custom set-up uses the same LoxTop management environment as the standard cabinets. Employees identify themselves at the screen; administrators set rights and consult the logs.
Future expansion can be taken into account in the design. Additional modules can be provided where the construction allows. Additional cabinets can also be linked via the network.
The LoxTop software works with a one-off lifetime licence without annual software licence costs. Additional hardware, links and maintenance are agreed separately.
From your requirements to the design
Your requirements form the basis for the design. We align the module layout, operation, mounting, power supply and network connection accordingly.
For built-in installation in a safe, we take into account the protective construction and the applicable certification. Any modifications and cable entries are agreed with the manufacturer where necessary.
Behind AXCOR stands Atelier Boonen, a Brussels family business with its own workshop and experience in safes, fire-resistant safes and secure rooms. We use these technical capabilities for custom layouts, built-in installation, installation and service.
Frequently asked questions
Can different types of key positions and compartments be combined in one cabinet?
Yes. RFID key holders, cylinder positions, miniboxes, closed compartments and standard key hooks can be combined. The layout and degree of logging are tailored per component.
Can the system be built into our existing safe?
This is often possible. We assess the available internal space, door opening, fitting and the options for power supply and cabling. The technical implementation must fit the construction of the safe.
Is a fire-resistant version also possible?
Yes. The management system can be integrated into a suitable safe or fire-resistant safe with additional fire resistance. The fire-resistant properties follow the certification of the chosen version.
How is the certification of the safe taken into account?
The built-in installation is matched to the certified construction. Fixings, modifications and any cable entries are assessed technically and, where necessary, agreed with the manufacturer.
Can MySafe be used on the same safe?
Yes, where a suitable lock version is possible. MySafe can manage the safe lock, while LoxTop manages the internal key positions, compartments or weapon holders. Each has its own management environment.
Does a custom set-up also work without a network?
Yes. Local identification, access control and logging can work stand-alone. Web management and synchronisation between linked cabinets require a network connection.
How is emergency access provided?
The emergency procedure is matched to the chosen safe, modules and locks. With your responsible person, we define how authorised persons gain access and how an emergency opening is followed up.
